FESPA 2020 Gold Winner
PVG’s Maharashtra Institute of Printing Technology, Pune, Won FESPA 2020 Young Star Gold Award.
Gold medal in the FESPA 2020 Young Star category awarded by the Federation of European Screen Printers Association (FESPA) to the PVG’s Maharashtra Institute of Printing technology Pune at the Global Print Expo Madrid, Spain.
Thakkar Karthik, Gawde Aniket, Kale Pawan, Khangate Durva, Bendre Shubhankar & Raut Swapnali second-year Diploma in Printing Technology students submitted an entry on Screen printed Image “Save Tigers Before They Are Silenced Forever.” at FESPA 2020 competition Under the guidance of Mr.Parmeshwar V.shinde,
“This student work shows ambition in the reproduction and design using four colour process and special effect varnishes,” remarked one of the FESPA Awards Judges.
According to Mr P.V. Shinde, I/C Principal of MIPT, this 4 colour process with UV printing project was printed using a semi-automatic screen printing machine with additional UV special effect varnishes. Both high build varnish and textured varnish have been used to creatively accent surface detail. Printed substrates were self-adhesive vinyl and matt duplex board.
Entries were invited for the Young Star category, for junior print industry employees, trainees or students aged between 16 and 25.
